You need a new computer

I mean, you might not need a new computer. You might just need an upgrade of one or more components, and it’ll work fine again.

But if you DO need a new computer, you might find the hubbub of the computer-selling world rather much. I can offer mostly PC-related help. I’ve been buying, fixing and selling computers as a hobby for years.

Help Level One: A consult.

We can have a conversation, and based on your personal computer usage, needs and budget, I can advise what you might need as minimum specs, and what form factor might work for you, whether new or used might be best, and where you might start looking.

Help Level Two: A searching.

If we do a consult, and you wish the extra help, I can do the actual looking, the calling, the spec evaluating, and the reading of 17 different reviews, and narrow it down for you. “Buy this one.” I shall say with a Gandalf-like air, pointing at a computer for sale on the internet or in a local shop.

Help Level Three: Provisioning

I can buy it for you, go get it, and bring it to you, with or without optional upgrades and software installations. But pretty much I need to know you and know that we trust each other for this to work out. Talk to me, let’s see.
